this is Citibank, called me to verify my recent bank transaction. contacted them about it, and it's verified.
Call claiming to be from Citibank. Some sort of investigation. Caller had thick Indian or Pakistani-type accent. Could not understand the number they wanted me to call back on. Said they had sent me a letter that I had not responded to. Also said they would send me an email. Never got any letter, never got any email.
