Nuisance / Prank Calls
Jul 12th 2023 at 06:47:44I was thinking to book through a booking agent but was not getting what I wanted. Comparing the charges to what I saw online was showing differences of up to $200.00. I wanted to match travel back with others. Finally I told the agent I couldn't deal with this just now. I wanted to get the return flight numbers from others and see if I could book myself. The agent reduced the price three times. Tried to push me through. I just couldn't bite because something felt off. I hung up. He tried to call back five times, I didn't answer. Then later, after successfully booking all through and getting the actual flights I wanted, I used PayPal to pay. Luv them... I just got an email stating that I need to call 1-646-738-7810 for an additional $16.06 No declaration of what the fee is for. As you can imagine, I do not want to pay this if it is related to a service fee of any kind. In my case it would be a disservice fee... I did everything on my own. All I did was talk to the guy, then decline his service. Are they trying to scab me after the fact now?
