Scam Call
Jul 14th 2022 at 20:40:43I work at a busy hotel at the front desk as a night auditor. I received a call from a man. He was talking really low and I could not understand what he was saying at first. His voice sounded familiar. After 3 times asking him to repeat what he was saying, I understood him to say that he wanted to know how much a room would be for him and his daughter. I told him to hold on while I pulled up the screen to put in his details. I ask him when would he like to stay. He said, let me get my daughters computer and look and see what days she will be available. At that point I remember a few months back a man calling and saying the exact same thing. I ask him to hold. I put him on hold and as soon as I did he hung up. The other time I talked to a man that said the same thing, the same tone of voice, he kept me holding for at least 10 15 minutes until I told him he could call back when he got his daughters schedule worked out.
